City of Strasbourg in France is very close to the German border and when I was there my friends students did their shopping in Germany. It was way cheaper there and also, to my greatest surprise, the Germans

      organized wonderful flower shows.

This part of France, where Strasbourg is located, bears the name Alsace.

Locals speak one rather strange French, I would say.

Typical for the region are the white houses with black beams.

      One of the symbols ...

      • of Alsace is the stork.

Strasbourg has some interesting and important administrative buildings, especially the one of the European Parliament building.

Its color fluctuates depending on the angle at which light falls.

The bus-stops in the city are

all unique - there is a sculpture in front of each of them, which adds this very unique charm.

There’s a river passing through the city and several majestic Gothic cathedrals, which add to the charm of this very romantic French city.
