It has been long awaited for Hova aka Jay-Z to get back on ball with his flow. This album is a must have for any Jay-Z fan. This album is a definite must add to the Hova collection.

Compared to his previous album “Kingdom Come” this album reigns supreme. Through out the whole album there is a certain vibe that

      I just love.

It has a street feel to it and it definitely sounds like the old Jay-Z. Real hip hop at it’s finest.

There are a few guest features on the album, such as his long time nemesis Nas, and also Beanie Sigel and Lil Wayne are featured on here. Overall the album was excellent, except for one track.

There was one track that should have been left off of this project. That track was the “Hello Brooklyn” featuring Lil Wayne.

Through out my listen of the album in it’s entirety, the collaborated track with Lil Wayne should not have been on the album. The track ruined the vibe of the album and it seemed out of place.

other than that collaborative track with Lil Wayne, the album is a definite gem. Overall I rate the album 8/10, due to the fact that the collaborative track with Lil Wayne should not have made the cut to be on this album.

I also gave this an 8 because the album could have had better production on it. The production

was decent, but I expected more from the production end of this album since Jay-Z is at such a high level you would expect big time producers to submit him spectacular beats.

Lyrics are on point on this album though. So if you haven’t heard it yet, take some time out of your day to check it out and you won’t be disappointed.

who produced this album mostly, i think swiss beats did quite a few track, would have loved to know who else did production on this. Its a good album for me

Yesaya Jnr Nkhwazi says :

Swizz beats actually didn’t produce anything on this album. The majority of this album was produced by Sean “P.Diddy” Combs - producing 6 of the 15 songs. Other producers included on this album were Just Blaze, The Neptunes, DJ Troomp, No I.D., Jermaine Dupri, Bigg D, Chris Flame. The most notable production work was on the 3 singles: Blue Magic which produced by The Neptunes, and also Pharell Williams of The Neptunes, Roc Boys (And The Winner Is…) which was produced by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and I Know which was produced by The Neptunes and featured Pharell Williams also.
