When we first saw previews for the movie Adventures of a Teenaged Drama Queen, we thought it would be a somewhat funny movie. Turns out it was actually quite dull.

Unless you like seeing a teenaged Lindsay Lohan in a tight red dress, there really isn’t much value to this film. Lohan plays a transfer student

who lies about everything from her name to the fact her father is alive in an effort to be interesting. And, of course, manages to get in a feud with the most popular girl in school.

Like most movies of this nature, she finds her world unraveling because, after a while, everyone figures out she’s lying ...

      • and suddenly won’t believe a word she’s saying.

Even the adventures she goes on in New York are weak. Her and her friend are trying to get into a concert and lose the money the intended to buy the ticket with. After trying to break in to the concert, they then try to crash the band’s

party and wind up meeting up with the lead singer; who turns out to be a drunk.

The ending is very predictable and I found myself bored out of my senses by the very end of the film. Some pre-teen girl might be able to relate to the characters but, overall, this movie has nothing that will save it.
