All Guld Wars fans out there, welcome to my review of Guil Wars Factions!

“Deep within the mountians of Cantha, an aincient evil plague is waiting to spread. You, along with your hero’s, must fight to stop it.”

Personally, i LOVE this game. It has strong story elements, strong game play characteristics, and a lovley combat system.

Here is how i rate this game: Game play elements: 9/10 (it could use a slightly better loot system) Story elements: 10/10 (they did a good job making it!) Loot system: 6/10 (Could use work, it’s a bit odd)

The game sells for about $25 now, and, believe

me, it is %100 worth it.

The loot system is like this, you hire hero’s and hencehmen in a town, but, the game does not take the money then and there. Instead, when you defeat a monster, say the monster drops fifty gold, you would only recieve twenty five gold, because your henchment require some type of Payment.

Don’t let anyone fool you, this game is not easy. In fact,t he first few months i played it, i considdered throwing it away because of how hard it was.

With the addition of Guild Wars: Factions, there is also a new PVP (player versus player) ...

      • system. In order to explain the PVP system, i must also explain the guild system.

In Guild Wars, you have the option to make your own guild or join another player’s guild. A “Guild” is pretty much an orginization of players wearing the same cape. Your guild leader can purchase a Guild hall, which is petty much a centeral location only your guild (or somone a guild member invitese) can go to. Within a guild hall, your guild leader can purchase special vendors and special solders that will aid you through your game journeys.

Now, the PVP system. When your Guild leader creates

a guild, he has the option to choose between two factions. Kurzick, and Luxon. There really aren’t any diffrences in them, it justdepends on whch way you want to go. When your leader designates what faction you belong to, you can then do alliance battles. Alliance battles are where you will be placed in a party (with eleven other players of the same faction) and it is a fight to the death. The winner, get’s faction points, which can be donated to your guild for special discounts on items and other goods.

Even though this was a short review, i believe it covers the basics.

        IT’S A GRAT GAME!
