  • It wasn't the best mystery I've ever read, but it certainly was entertaining
  • But, overall, I enjoyed this book because it gave me some insight into how loyal students are to their colleges (at least at the time the book took place) and had some important messages about sticking by your friends throughout even the worst circumstances
  • I think it's a book that most people will enjoy if they are patient and don't give up on it before they finish the first few chapters

When I started reading the book Andy at Yale: Or the Great Quadrangle Mystery I had absolutely no clue what the book was going to be about. In fact, several chapters into it, I still really wasn’t sure whether I was reading a mystery or a narrative of someone’s college life. The only reason I continued reading was it was

written so it was easy to follow.

However, after finishing the book, I do feel it was worth the couple of hours I spent reading it. It wasn’t the best mystery I’ve ever read, but it certainly was entertaining.

Basically, the book was a mystery book about thefts that are taking place at Yale. The only thing with that is they take ...

      • place more in the background throughout the majority of the book until one of Andy’s friends is arrested for them and he promises to prove his innocence.

The real thief isn’t too hard to figure out. I had suspected him earlier in the book and my suspicions were confirmed with later revelations. But, overall, I enjoyed this book because it gave

me some insight into how loyal students are to their colleges (at least at the time the book took place) and had some important messages about sticking by your friends throughout even the worst circumstances. I think it’s a book that most people will enjoy if they are patient and don’t give up on it before they finish the first few chapters.
