In case you aren’t familiar with the acronym, KODT stands for “Knights of the Dinner Table. ” This is a long running comic magazine which features a group of gamers as they play various roleplaying games (although most often it focuses on the game Hackmaster, which is similar to the classic Dungeons and Dragons).

The strip pokes some much needed fun at gamers, and it is a real treat for anyone who enjoys a good role playing game now and then.

I have read KODT for several years off and on, now, but I had never gone back to read some of their earliest adventures until I picked up this volume.

      • KODT Bundle of Trouble, Volume 1, reprints the first three issues of the series, giving us a glance at the very beginning of the series.

It was a real treat to see how it first started out.

The art is not quite the quality it is these days, but the writing is as

        good as always.

There is even a brand new story which makes its appearance in this volume, going back in time to give the experiences of Dave’s first game.

        It is a real treat.

This is an excellent volume for long time fans of KODT or a first time reader experiencing it for the first time.
