While this episode of Psych wasn’t quite as good as many others, I will admit Lights, Camera, Homicidio was a cute one.

Shawn is on site at a Latin soap opera trying to solve a murder and ends up joining the cast of the show. His role was actually quite entertaining considering how stupid the plot lines were.

course, the rest of the characters on the show really didn’t have much to do in this one, which was a disappointment. It was almost as though the show threw them in there just so they could have some time on the air rather than have any real involvement in the actual plot. This is especially true when ...

      • it comes to his dad, who we find out earlier in the show likes soap operas. All you see of him is a short visit to the set after he discovers Shawn is acting on TV. He doesn’t even lend much of a hand with solving the case like he usually does.

I would never have suspected the ending

of the show and who the real murderer was. In fact, I never even noticed the killer’s character until Shawn points it out. Still, I was really left wanting more from this episode. Again, it was cute, but it wasn’t one that did a whole lot to convince me this series is still capable of providing high-quality shows later on.
