If you really love watching romance movies, than you must not miss out on watching “Good Luck Chuck”. This movie is one of my personal favourites together with “Sleepless in Seattle” and “While you were sleeping”. The difference in this movie from the latter is that the main characteres interpreted by Dane Cook and Jessica Alba manage to pull off a lot of comic scenes.

“Good Luck Chuck” is about a successful dentist, Charlie Logan (Dane Cook) whose life changes after he discover that every girl he

slept with ends up to fall in love with her next partner. This led to Charlie having a lot of women in his bed to his great pleasure and, in certain circumstances, distaste. Things change once Charlie meets Cham Wexler (Jessica Alba), a very clumsy person who works at a pengium habitat. The more he gets to know her, the more he doesn’t want her to fall in love with any one else.

This film has a lot of nude scenes but they cannot be described as ...

      • vulgar because they enhance the comic aspect of the story. The actor Dan Fagler who playes Stu, Charlie’s bestfriend and plastic surgean, is involved in a lot of hiliarious scenes. If you need a breast enhancement, don’t you ever dream of using his services!!

It is a true pity that “Good Luck Chuck” received a lot of bad criticism. I believe that Dan Cook’s acting skills in this film are by far much better when compared to the part he had in “Employee of the Month”. Jessica

Alba wasn’t that much impressive as an actress. It seems that the part of Cham was originaly offered to Jennifer Love Hewitt but she had to refuse due to other work commitments. On the whole the screen couple, Cook/Alba is a really cute one, even though they cannot be compared to the on-screen couple, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

This film was directed by Mark Helfrich who was also involved also on films such as Money Talks (1997), Rush Hour (1997) and After the Sunset (2004).
