Wendy Wu is a Disney movie about kung fu fighting and stuff. The star, Brenda Song, plays the role of Wendy, a popular high school senior. In the beginning, she acts like any other popular teenagers: arrogant, demeaning, and self-obsessed.

Her goal is to become homecoming

queen. Everything was going pretty much her way until a monk from China visits her house.

He is a warrior reincarnated to help Wendy fight the evil that promise to return every 500 years or so. So this movie has some kung fu and magic in it.

At first, Wendy denied training, but she later gave in due to her bad grades. She trained with masters of martial arts from ancient times.

It’s funny watching her train because you can so tell they use special affects. And the huming and uming really ...

      makes it sound cheesy.

The monk received a make-over from Wendy and turns into a really hot Asian. She later falls in love with him and dumbed her supposed boyfriend who is really a snuck-up jerk.

Besides, he wasn’t that cute at all. In brief, Wendy

used her hidden powers to defeat the evil for good and gave up becoming homecoming queen to save the monk.

It is an entertaining movie. However, the acting is not that convincing.

I was not drawn by the plot at all. I just like watching the actors.

She’s so typical, and reminds me of so many other movies such as mean girls. The acting is horrendous as well and the plot is just a recycled version of other similar Disney movies.
