The Chicago Bulls had a great team last year. They swept the defending champion Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs and gave the Detroit Pistons, their bitter rivals, all they could handle in six games. Led by head coach Scott Skiles, the Bulls started off poorly this year.

So poorly in fact, Scott Skiles was fired

on Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve of all days! That’s just incredible.

The lack of respect and rudeness of firing someone on Christmas Eve. What, it couldn’t have waited two days? The reason the Bulls chose that day was because it sent a clear message to their next head coach.

We will not hesitate to fire you from our team ...

      • if you do not win. That message seemed clear enough to their new head coach Jim Boylan.

Jim is no stranger to the Bulls. He was behind Skiles on the bench and knows how the organization works.

Unfortunately for him, the team is still not winning. The Bulls missed their chance to fire Boylan on New Years Eve.

        Maybe they’re

just waiting for Easter. I’m not sure what goes on in the minds of the Bulls ownership, but I know you can’t coach there and lose.

They’re far too proud to have a losing season coming off the season they just had. The Bulls do not wish to go backwards, so, Jim Boylan, you better be ready to lead the forward charge.
