      Where The Wild Things Are is a delightful children’s book about a little boy named Max who, alone in his bedroom, conjures up a jungle and many wild things, or beasts, as we would call them. I loved reading this book to my children when they were young, and they loved the story. The book

      • most about Where The Wild Things Are is that they could growl and make all kinds of loud noises right along with the book’s narrative, which made story time a lot of fun. My recommendation would be to not read Where The Wild Things Are prior to bedtime, as this book always got my brood
        more wound up than sleepy and relaxed. Where The Wild Things Are was written in the 1960s but this book is a classic and very timeless. Where The Wild Things Are is as appropriate today for youngsters as it was back then, and I hope that my children read it to their own kids someday!
