Route de Kondar, Kalla Kebira, Sousse, Tunisia
  • After dinner, the most spectacular show followed at 9.30 pm, the Sound and Light Show - I can't even explain how amazing this was and the effects they have created is just jaw dropping, its a story explaining over 3000 years of civilisation, it includes the history, dancing, fighting absolutely everything with fantastic animators to perform this show
  • It was so interesting to learn the history but also extremely fascinating at how they have created a masterpiece with just the effects of sound and light
  • I would truly recommend this to anyone - we paid 30 dinar for the whole evening which is approximately 10 GBP

This is a park of 12 acres dedicated to 3,000 years of Tunisian history. When you arrive at the park, pass through the door of history by crossing the wall of the Medinat Alzahra Parc and then guided by the light of the torches towards the setting of an unforgettable show.

But before this, explore the “souks” to discover the Treasures Gallery to see some of the craftsmen work made in Tunisia that is available for you to buy, there is also the Berber Encampment

close to the scenic area of the Sound and Light Show and this is an animated and vivid Bedouin encampment with its authentic tents of the nomad Bedouins of southern Tunisia. Here you will see a wide range of animals and a small show of dancers with horses to get you in the mood for the light and sound show or you can have a nice stroll around the massive castle.

At about 7 we were led for dinner which was a 4 course meal ...

      • and we were entertained by dancers and a fakir show during dinner. The dinner was really nice and consisted of the tradition Tunisian dish ‘couscous.

I would truly recommend this to anyone - we paid 30 dinar for the whole evening which is approximately 10 GBP. The location of the park is extremely hard to find and I would recommend you to travel with a tour guide from the hotel.

For anyone visiting Tunisia, I would highly recommend this trip, it was truly a spectacular evening.
