Macbeth is a tragic hero who falls into a trap and commits continuous murders to reach his purpose. He was crowned to be Dane of Crowdor from his bravery in battle.

The King Duncan trusted him completely.

After the battle, Macbeth encountered three witches; they prophesied that hill will become king.

Macbeth did not believe them at first but when one of their prophesies came true he began to dream of the crown.

From that point on, he murdered King Duncan and many afterwards to take the thrown and maintain his supremacy.

The question is was Macbeth a hero in the first ...

      • place? Shakespeare portrays him as a chivalrous soldier in the beginning of the play.

However, he sold his soul to the devil just for some prophecy from three witches.

A true hero would have recognized the trap and fight against the temptations.

Macbeth, on the other hand, falls deeply into the

trap and forever lost his pride and honor.

He was a weak man from the start and continued to be a weak man till the end.

This novel really drives in the fact that every decision made will affect your life latter on.

Therefore, do not let blind ambition destroy your life.
