When Tony comes to Miami, Florida, things are never the same. Tony is a Cuban refugee who tries to start life over in a new country.

Al Pacino is brilliant in this role as Tony, who starts out with nothing and becomes a huge drug lord.

Tony wants to be important and

take care of his family and bring home more money than he has been as a dishwasher.

So Tony rises up the ranks of a drug ring, specifically a cocaine dealer and his group.

Tony meets his future wife then, played by a very young Michelle Pfeiffer.

She treats Tony like dirt ...

      • and he is just all over her, trying to win her over.

Well, when Tony becomes the drug king, she comes around and they get married.

Tony’s mother and sister figure out all that is going on and worry that Tony will come to a bad end.

        Scarface is terribly violent, was

filmed a long time ago (in the 1970s) and has lots of drug usage.

        Scarface can be quite disturbing.

Between Tony calling everyone a ‘cockroach’ and then shooting them without any remorse, it can get quite intense from scene to scene.

However, Scarface is movie history and I highly recommend it.

        Not for the children!
