Carolina Moon is a murder story that is sort of predictable, yet inspiring and romantic. It is about a young girl named Tory Bodeen and how she grew up in a small South Carolina town.

She lived in a very run down house where her father ruled with an iron fist and a leather belt.

She was not allowed to explore her talents or dream of a better life as long as she was under her father’s thumb.

Her best friend that did try to encourage her to dream a little and be a kid was brutally murdered.

One day Tory finds herself needing to settle things from her past that ...

      • continued to haunt her as an adult.

So she moves back to Progress where her life had begun to fall apart.

She moves back to her childhood home the place she fears most.

She knows she has to face off with her fears but is not sure of how at first.

        She becomes much closer to

her older brother but does not know where that might lead.

The thing she fears the most is confronting where her best friend was murdered.

This story is written by Nora Roberts and is a great book.

It sums up how hard it is to face your fears instead of running away which we all do to often.
