Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the newest gaming effort by Infinity Ward to please the fans of the Call of Duty series after having played the very boring Call of Duty 3.

      Let’s Review It!

      Graphics 10/10

I bought the PC version of the game, so the graphics and be horrible or beautiful. Since my PC isn’t the best when it comes to graphical performance, I had to try the game using a friend’s computer. Thanks to his much better graphics card the game looked beautiful. The weapons looked like the real things, the environments looked great (things like grass, rocks, etc..), and the models of the characters faces were very realistic and expressive.

      Sound/Music 9/10

The sound effects are great. You

would think you are really in the heat of battle with all the bullets you hear flying around you. The voice work is terrific. Every voice fits its character and the chat over the radio is just amazing. It really makes you feel like you’re apart of the action.

Their isn’t much music, but what’s there is pretty good. Nothing memorable, but it’s played and the right times and fits the current situation in which it plays.

Gameplay - I’m dividing this up into two categories (single player and multiplayer):

Single Player 8/10: The single player campaign is short, but sweet. You play as two characters. One soldier from the British S.A.S (Soap McTavish), and the other from the U.S. Marine ...

      • Corps (Sgt. Paul Jackson). The game is very linear in that there is always and only one way to achieve your objective. A little more freedom would have been desired, but it doesn’t hinder the gameplay that much. 90% of the gameplay is on foot, but their are occasions where you might get to ride in a helicopter, or a truck or two. Everything is pretty standard when compared to previous Call of Duty games. Driving in a tank would have been nice though. However, there is an amazing level where you get to go back into the 70’s into Chernobyl.

Multiplayer 10/10: The multiplayer is amazing. It’s fun, fast, and addicting. There is a new experience feature that allows

you to gain experience points the more kills you get. You can use these points to upgrade your character with new weapons and perks. Perks are added abilities that you character can have such as extra ammo, or increased bullet damage. Thanks to the new perks system everyone can customize their own character and play in their own original way. The multiplayer will have you playing for hours on end with no sleep in sight.

In the end, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is an amazing game that every first person shooter fan should own. I love it and I guarantee you that I will not stop playing it for a couple of years thanks to the addicting multiplayer.

        Overall Score 10/10
