A man plays with his son on a merry-go-round…another lays calmly in the distance sipping liquid through a straw, he takes aim and shots the man and son; man lives, boy dies.

      Six years later…

John Travolta is CIA Agent Sean Archer whose son was brutally murdered at the savage hands of Nicholas Cage (Castor Troy) who makes it is life long duty to find and imprison the man responsible for the death of his son. When events lead to

the location of Castor Troy, Sean Archer pounces in the information and takes the lead in Troy’s capture. A huge gun fight/plane fight/car chase/fist fight ensues where troy is eventually in custody and Sean can now set his mind at ease that the man who took his son’s life is off the streets.

Things take a sinister drastic change when they discover that Troy has planted a bomb somewhere in downtown Los Angeles. in order to find the location ...

      • of the bomb, they interrogate Troy’s brother Pollux (Alessandro Nivola), but he divulges no relevant information. Their only option now is to do something very drastic where Sean must replace his face with that of Castor…basically, Sean must assume the identity of his most hated enemy.

After getting acquiring the location of the bomb, and he is just about to exit the prison hold, Sean is astonished to find that Troy regained consciousness from his coma and has taken

his (Sean) face and identity in return…plus, Castor killed all the people who knew about the procedure he went under.

Oops, I gave away a vital twist in the movie…well, you get one, but the others, you must find for yourself. LOL.

This movie is hands down one of the best movies ever made, it’s originality is surpassed only by its sheer excitement in direction. If there was a rating higher than 10, I would gladly give it to “Face/Off”…a truly magnificent film.
