A lady that I used to work with would make a wonderful dessert called Dump Cake. I’d never heard of Dump Cake before and had no idea what it was. Dump Cake doesn’t look like much; it’s not a fancy dish at all. But this amazing dessert will surprise you with it’s buttery, rich flavors. Best of all, it

takes almost nothing to make. I put everything in one dish, pop the cake into the oven and about 15-20 minutes later, I have a hot, yummy dessert. When my coworker explained what a Dump Cake’s ingredients are, I realized that you can mix and match cake mixes and pie fillings in whatever combinations you choose. It’s that easy ...

      • - one box cake mix (for example, chocolate), 1 can pie filling (I’d pair cherry with chocolate pie filling).

        Dump Cake

        1 box cake mix

        1 can pie filling

        1 stick of butter

        glass baking dish, greased

Preheat oven to 325. Take the pie filling of your choice and put it into a greased, glass baking dish. Pout the box of cake mix on

top of the pie filling. Then cut the stick of butter into eight pieces and lay the pieces on top of the cake mix. Pop the dish into the oven. Take out 15-20 minutes later.

I’ve used white cake mix with blueberry pie filling and yellow cake mix with apple pie filling but this recipe is limited only by your imagination. Enjoy!
