The newest generation of Head rackets are the Metallix model. I bought one of these models, the Head Metallix 2 and i have to admit that one of the reason i bought this is because of it’s cosmetics.

It looks really nice with its red and silver/gray

      trimmings.

And at a Midplus head size, i expected to get some power out of it as well.

I was surpirsed when i used it as i immediately felt the power of the racket.

I strung it with a kevlar string and besides the power you could also ...

      • have a feel for the control of the racket.

Although i did have trouble adjusting to it’s wide frame since i have been used to playing with a racket that has a thinner more heavier frame.

The pay-off is that you get lesser control with the Metallix

2 but at the same time you get stronger power for your shots.

Overall, i really like the infusion of both sides of the spectrum for this tennis racket model.

And although i did pay a considerable amount in my procurement, it is still a very good buy for me.
