If ever there was a true story brought to film that needed to be seen, it’s this one. “Talk to Me” covers the true story of Petey Greene, a former convict who fast-talked his way into a coveted Washington DC radio station DJ job.

      Don Cheadle is one

of the best actors I have ever seen.

Watching him morph into Greene’s character was magical.

Even Taraji Henson did well playing opposite him as his love interest.

I felt the movie was incredibly well paced.

And on top of that Chiwetel (the actor portraying Dewey) ...

      • gave a profound performance in his role as well.

I particularly liked how they incorporated real sound/TV bytes of famous shows like the Johnny Carson show, into the movie for authenticity.

This was done seamlessly, and made the movie seem more real.

        The only thing that

I really regret, is that the film didn’t feel long enough.

I liked seeing Petey’s rise to fame.

But I felt that there was probably a whole bunch of stuff that directors left out for the sake of time.

Perhaps a 3 hour film should have been in order.
