My favorite place to stay in San Francisco is the The Parsonage Bed and Breakfast Inn at 198 Haight Street. I love historic buildings and they make great B&B’s.

this one has five huge bedrooms, one of

the things that make the older houses so special, and each one has a private bath room.

It also meets one of my most wanted features, a full hot breakfast every day.

And another one, less than a half hour ...

      • from many of the major San Francisco attractions.

There is no smoking in the rooms, but it is allowed out in the garden.

There are two parlors, a feature of this era of houses.

Back then, after dinner, the men

went to one for cigars and brandy and the women to the other to catchup on the news of the day.

Today, the guests use them to get acquainted or to read one of the books from the house library.
