We absolutely hate it when our daughter gets a cold; mostly because there are very few medicines out there that can help keep her symptoms under control.

This past weekend, in an effort to give her relief from her stuffy nose and sneezing, we purchased Children’s Triaminic Thin Strips. These were

supposed to instantly melt on her tounge and provide immediate results. They didn’t even come close.

First, when we gave her the thin strip, the first thing she did was gag a bit. At first, we thought it was because it was the first time she’s had one of these. But, we ...

      • gave her another one later and she did the same thing. Rather than dissolve on her tongue, it would sit there long enough where she would wind up swallowing it.

The medicine also did very little to help her. Even after two doses of the Triaminic, she still had the stuffy nose

and was still sneezing throughout the day. In fact, she was pretty miserable until we went back to the store and bought her a different brand of medicine (that one worked right away).

This is the last time I buy the Triaminic thin strips because they were a huge waste of money for us.
