I collect many things and one of them is cook books. New cook books and historic one of a kind.

Tons and tons of cook books.

One of my favorites is The Good Housekeeping Cookbook, Revised Edition, publisher: Hearst

      Books.

You not only get the recipes, but the comments from the cooks who test the recipes before they are published in the magazine.

The pictures are beautiful and mine never look anything like they do , but the taste ...

      • is there.

Don’t be afraid to try some of the most unusual ones, the names make them look hard to do, but they are really very easy.

If you want to put a little spice in your life, try

        the Cajun Meat loaf.

This one would make a great gift for a new home owner or a newly wed who might need a little help in the kitchen.

Of course, her husband may appreciate it more than she does.
