  • I think the action scenes and effects are excellent here, but it's not the tiniest bit convincing as a story, and it doesn't have any of the cleverness of the classic films of the series

Don’t ask me why, but for some reason they made another Bond film after the complete failure of The World is Not Enough. Don’t ask me why, but for some reason I used my money to see it.

Perhaps because I am such a big fan of the older

films and needed to see if the concept was completely dead or not.

It wasn’t dead, Die Another Day is a major improvement to the last film, but it sure has a lot of issues to.

I think the action scenes and effects are excellent here, but it’s not ...

      • the tiniest bit convincing as a story, and it doesn’t have any of the cleverness of the classic films of the series.

After appearing in every single film since Goldfinger, the beloved character of Q, played by Desmond Llewelyn, made his last invention, and is replaced by R, played

        by John Cleese.

This is also said to be the last appearance of Pierce Brosnan.

The next film will be based on a novel by Ian Fleming (Casino Royale) and will starr a new actor named Daniel Craig as 007.

Beyond all reasonable doubt I will spend/waste my money on that one too.
