Bond returns yet again on a dangerous mission, in what part of the series I haven’t even ben able to count. Still featured by Roger Moore who’s reaching the age of 50 by this time, Bond goes to India to defeat a dangerous villain who’s making threats

      to the whole world.

Many years ago this used to be my favorite Bond film.

That was a time when I was only interested in the action and not ...

      • narrative or anything that had to do with cinema what so ever.

When I re-watch Octopussy today, I only feel that it’s very dull.

It gives action scene on action scene, stuffed together, and the viewer isn’t allowed to breath between each sequence.

        This was made in

a time when the Indiana Jones films with Harrison Ford where coming out, and I have to admit those films, at least the first one, beats this 007 films rather easily.

The Bond films were starting to lose their power and it was only getting worse from this stage.
