      A lot went into the making of this film and a lot came out of it. If possible, this trilogy should be watched as if it were one complete film.

      The closest I came was watching each film nightly, over three nights.

      By doing so, I gained a perspective


      that I don’t think one can get by just watching each film separately over time.

      This film, and its successors, are another example to me of careful adaption.

      The huge tomes would be impossible to squeeze into a reasonable length, and this one, at two hours and fify-eight minutes, was pushing the limit.

      But time moved quickly while watching this movie.

      It was easy for me to lose my way as I watched Frodo receive his destiny from Gandalf: take the one ring and get rid of it.

      Then, as the Fellowship formed, first with the Hobbits, then Aragorn,

      and lastly at Elrond’s Council at Rivendell, the fan at last begins.

      The breathtaking scenery, superior acting, and a fantastic, epic tale, mix here to create an epic fantasy that I plan to watch over and over again � whenever I can find the time.

      These characters became friends of

      mine.

      Their fates, their experiences, became mine.

      I thrilled to live their adventures in proxy.

      Maybe one day I, or someone braver, can make the fuller tale into six films, as the books are traditionally divided, but they (or I) will have big shoes to fill with Peter Jackson’s adaption to compare with.

Film set in the middle earth with a great load of magical fantasy that at the same time gives us scenes with a great dose of action that will awaken our senses to the maximum in the course of the film. In Middle Earth, the Dark Lord Sauron ordered the Elves to forge the Great Rings of Power. Three for the Elven kings, seven for the Dwarf Lords, and nine for the Mortal Men. But Sauron also forged, in secret, the One Ring, which has the power to enslave all Middle-earth. With the help of all his friends and brave allies, the young hobbit Frodo embarks on a dangerous journey with the mission to destroy the One Ring. But the evil Sauron orders the persecution of the group, consisting of Frodo and his loyal hobbit friends, a magician, a man, an elf and a dwarf. The mission is almost suicidal but necessary, because if Sauron with its army of orcs managed to recover the Ring, it would be the end of Middle Earth. I recommend you enjoy every minute of the film and I assure you that you will find in it a great number of emotions.
