A swedish animated comedy about the spirit of christmas. It’s originally titled “Sagan om Karl-Bertil Jonssons julafton” and tells the tale of young Karl-Bertil who’s a big fan of Robin Hood, and feels he wants to do something good to people around christmas time.

      At his work in

the post office, he changes the labels of all packages addressed to rich people, and later goes out on the street to give these presents to the poor homeless people.

This is a film I always loved by all my heart.

It’s narrated by the writer of the ...

      • story, the beloved swedish comedian Tage Danielsson, and his voice lifts this story to extraordinary heights.

It’s animated by a man named Per Ahlin, very famous among swedes for his imaginative work.

There is also a lot of humor in this film, that perhaps could only be understood

by the ones who speak the swedish language.

It’s a witty kind of humor, where the funny parts are to be found in Tage Danielsson’s pronunciation and vocubulary.

One of the few films ever that really captured that christmas spirit and warmth.

Very lovable, however, a bit too short in my opinion.
