Austria - Europe
  • All 4 of us agreed that the Austrian culture is really a good experience for us all and it really depends on the person traveling themselves whether to love or hate the city
  • All of us ate at some of the restaurants which we felt had some very good prices and were more often delicious
  • It would be difficult if you don't have a tour guide to bring you around, so I recommend a hassle-free tour group or a personal guide, that allows lots of time for relax and also some solo-time in some places

For those who do not know, Vienna is in Austria, Europe and there has been a particular time and place that I have been to this place for a vacation with my aunt, and my 2 best friends. So, the 4 of us women were braving ourselves for this journey and it was really a memorable one.

There were a lot of historical sites and culture donnning the place and Vienna is a very friendly, yet a laid-back city filled with excellent food but yet bad drivers. The taxi drivers tend to be a bit loud and rude but don’t really take heed in their words and just pretend that you are mute or deaf and just concentrate with your good temper to reach the destination, ha!

All 4 of us agreed that

the Austrian culture is really a good experience for us all and it really depends on the person traveling themselves whether to love or hate the city. Let me tal about the food first. There were lots of restaurants in the city and they were all really exceptional and great-looking. All of us ate at some of the restaurants which we felt had some very good prices and were more often delicious. The chocolate cakes were also delicious but there could be a bit of a communication problem because the Austrians don’t really speak good English. As for the other parts of the city, it was filled with lots of elegance and beauty and the 4 of us truly had a good fun. The culture seemed really rich and ...

      • the snacks were all truly deliciously tasting. Everything was truly beautiful and unique and I remember the 4 of us taking lots of pictures and enjoying ourselves pretty much. We forgot about our husbands, boyfriends and families for that moment and truly submerged ourselves for a good travel altogether.

There was this particular Schunn Palace and it is really gorgeous with lots of beautiful gardens and a lot of locals there claimed that it is a good rival to the Versailled in Paris. The downtown area were also part of our itinerary list and we saw a good amount of the local culture there and basically were sitting down by the cafes and just doing people-watching. As for market touring, we went to Naschmarkt and this is a market full of international

cuisine restaurants and yet again, the food were fine tasting.

It would be difficult if you don’t have a tour guide to bring you around, so I recommend a hassle-free tour group or a personal guide, that allows lots of time for relax and also some solo-time in some places. Like for our tour guide, he allowed us a nice, 10 minutes-walk through a nice park and we really appreciated that privacy given. We also did have a nice stroll in one of the Viennese woods, and he told us to not venture further off that’s all.

We stayed a couple of days in a nice spa resort area and around less than an hour from Vienna. So it was a nice trip altogether and something that I will always remember forever.
