Following “For One More Day”, I was itching for more of Mitch Albom’s best sellers and hence I snatched up “The Five People YOu meet In Heaven”. I remembered using much of my time within a

1 week frame to finish the book.

Written in memory of Edward, Mitch’s uncle, the main haracter in the book, Eddie starts at 83 years old. He was an amusement park maintenance man and he would die in an accident in the park itself, sparking the story to life.

In the book, Eddie went through heaven meeting 5 people. These are people close to him, or those he had something to do with him.

It brings about a concept where his life have soething to do with someone’s death.

In meeting the 5 people, Eddie learns new things, about his life and about things that happened before him and to him,

letting him understand all things are connected in one way or another.

He also finally discover the truth to the nightmares that he has been having, and finally becomes one of the 5 people to another person who is alive.
