MapleStory is a 2D MMORPG. It is a rather fun game, and I really enjoy it. The point to the game is to complete quests and gain experience in order to level up. There is no top out point. You can keep levelling as long as you keep playing.

MapleStory is a great game for the younger crowd, permitting interaction with other players but keeping the explicity down with their amazing curse filter. All curse words, and any words that may be misconstrued as curse words are filtered out of the chat system.

I love maplestory for many reasons. For one, there are alot of really nice players of all ages. Most players are quick to assist other players in quests or help in levelling. Parties are a great way to level up.

      Another reason

I enjoy maple is that it is simple. Being 2d, there are only a handful of controls which are customizable to the player’s liking. For those of us who have never really left the Nintendo era, this is a great reminiscent game.

Maplestory also has a great cash shop. You can customize your character with thousands of items from the cash shop. Nexon cash can be purchased at Target stores or online via paypal or paybycash.com (in $5, $10, $30 increments)

I think Maplestory is a great game for introducing children to the internet. It offers a wide range of protection for your kids, with the swear filters, no profiles, and the log-in process. By logging your Nexon account in with username and password, then your PIN, it makes it extremely difficult for hackers to ...

Maplestore also offers a wide range of characters to play, from a warrior to archer to magician to theif, each class having different special attacks and abilities. There are several sites available to assist players in ensuring that they apply their ability and stat points correctly. Also available in the cash shop are Reset cards, which allow you to reset incorrectly applied points.

Perhaps what I like best about Maplestory is the guild system. Guilds offer a sort of club for members, and it allows members to get to know one another on a far more personal basis, sometimes offering items or assistance to fellow guild members.

While MapleStory has many wonderful qualities, there are some that not so great. Like the “Smegas”. Smegas can be bought in the cash

shop and allow users to send messages to everyone playing Maplestory at the moment. This can be useful if you’re looking to buy or sell items, but many people use Smegas for nothing other than to annoy other players. I also have a strong dislike for the levelling system. It gets very difficult to level up once your character becomes level 35. At this point, your character gains little experience from weaker monsters but takes too long to kill stronger monsters. I also don’t like the fact that if you die, you lose a percentage of your experience. This can be extremely frustrating.

Overall, I recommend Maplestory to anyone just starting out in the world of MMORPG’s. It’s a simple game with no relevant point. However, to those who are more experienced, I recommend 9-dragons or Flyff.
