How many of u know about the Ashirwad atta. Actually the name ashirwad is the brand name of the ready-made wheat flour, which is sold in many shops and also in super markets.

It is just like any other ready-made wheat

flour, which are kept for sale.

This was for the first time that my husband brought the one-k.

g packet of the ashirwad atta to prepare some roties and just to see how it tastes like.

Actually when I opened the packet ...

      • of the ashirwad atta, I felt that this flour is very fresh because of its vacuum-sealed packing and also this wheat flour is cleaned.

I filtered this atta before I use it for cooking, surprisingly there was nothing left except the flour

        while filtering it.

The cost of this atta is just a little more then the other brands of the attas, but quality is good.

When I prepared the roties with this atta, the taste of the roties was also very good and soft

Asheerwad Atta tastes sweet. I think they are adding sugar or other chemical to get the taste or softness.

    ReviewStream.com
    Galega says :

No, they don’t add any sugar. Actually, the manufacturers use Sharbati wheat to produce this Atta. Because of this wheat, you get sweetness.

Sharbati wheat is found mainly in MP. To get it directly, ITC has opened lots of e-chaupals in that state.

why should we use this atta rather than buying our own wheat and then getting it converted into atta

    ReviewStream.com
    Galega says :

If you buy wheat, you are required to go through many processes to get Atta. First to preserve the wheat in your home. Then take it to a nearby`chakki’. It is quite a cumbersome process, and hence even in small Indian town packaged Atta has started to make inroads.

That said, if you can do it (buying wheat and getting it converted into Atta) then that would be definitely the best option, in terms of hygiene and quality.
