  • First of you can play games with great ease, the screen is big enough to enjoy the gaming experience but it is in no way a substitute for a real TV
  • Another interesting factor is the fact that the PSP also plays movies
  • The movies are in a mini dvd, they are good enough to watch on a the psp screen but the only problem is that these movies tend to cost about as much as a real dvd
  • Obviously a psp disk will be a lot less 'perfect' than your standard dvd, and in my opinion you don't get enough for what you pay for
  • They tend not to respond as well in high temperatures (30 - 40 degrees celcius) and the games ge quite boring after a little while

The Sony PSP is a somewhat nice little gadget to have, if you’re a kid. It is basically the new generation of the old ‘gameboy’ with some major touch-ups. First of you can play games with great ease, the screen is big enough to enjoy the gaming experience but it is in no way a substitute for a real TV.

Another interesting factor is the fact that the PSP also plays movies. this seems like a

really cool feature but don’t be fooled. The movies are in a mini dvd, they are good enough to watch on a the psp screen but the only problem is that these movies tend to cost about as much as a real dvd. Obviously a psp disk will be a lot less ‘perfect’ than your standard dvd, and in my opinion you don’t get enough for what you pay for. The battery seems to not last ...

      • enough, and just as a Murphy law, it always tends to turn off right at the worst possible moment while playing or right on a clue scene in a movie.

I found that the screen scratches quite easily and it’s not quite perfect under direct sunlight. All in all i would reccomend this only if it is a must-have. otherwise save your money and buy a real console which can provide much more entertainment than the PSP

        ever could.

The buttons, at least in my opinion aren’t really user friendly. They are harder to get accostumed to than a standard controller and i found that they malfunction quite easily. They tend not to respond as well in high temperatures (30 - 40 degrees celcius) and the games ge quite boring after a little while. The graphics, compared to other consoles on the market (when compared by price) offer a much greater value for your money.
