I attended the Houston Symphony’s performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands TX, and the experience was enchanting! This was a lovely performance that was energetic and

well performed. The director John Morris Russell, was engaging and did a very good job of introducing the assorted musical pieces and the instrument families featured in each piece. Each musical piece performed had an animal theme ...

      • and the feature piece was “Peter and the Wolf”. This performance was very affordable, even offering free lawn tickets. The entire evening was geared towards families with balloons and assorted activities for children before the concert began.
This was a wonderful event that introduced beautiful music to a young audience! The symphony has other performances scheduled and I highly encourage anyone who appreciates classical music to attend. This was a wonderful evening for all!
