This was not the Highlander we all know and love. The Duncan in this movie was dark and brooding and unsure of himself.

      The movie was choppy-it didn’t

      have a good flow.

There wasn’t much information about the characters and how they all came together.

It didn’t make you feel anything for any of the characters except the Highlander and only because of the history we fans are aware of.

The central figure, the Guardian, was silly and not up to the usual Highlander ...

      standards.

The sword fighting scenes were in fast motion, leaving us unable to see what was actually happening.

There were moments when the old Highlander shone through, but

too few to salvage this movie.

I have been a fan of Duncan’s for years and I still adore him.

However, this movie was extremely disappointing and left many questions unanswered.
