I underrated the quality of this film. As usual, I passed this over in movie theatres because I felt that perhaps it would be just too silly. And this time I was right—but it was silly in a fabulous way.

I love how the humor is at once

disgusting, yet intelligent. And the fabulous cast of characters really brought this light-hearted story line to life.

Steve Carell is perhaps the most PERFECT person to play the 40 year-old virgin. He has this Mr.

Bean-like quality, except he’s not as goofy. I also like that ...

      • directors and writers did not make the main character completely dysfunctional and unappealing.

It’s simply that he hasn’t found the right woman yet. Seth Rogen is truly the funniest.

His snide comments always slide in at the appropriate time. But truly, one of the funniest characters is

Romany Malco, the group’s resident ladies’ man.

But his character fits right in with the rest, as he has his own hilarious funny lines. You can expect some crass humor and some really incredible situations in this film.

It’s decadent, raunchy, but somehow in completely good taste. Enjoy!
