The Motorola RAZR was last years “it” phone and still is widely popular today. Boasting a sleek flip-top profile, the RAZR is super-thin, but longer than most cell-phones. Yes, its slim design fits wonderfully in a big pocket or purse, but due to its over-compensated length and width,

it’s footprint isn’t as small as you might think.

Additionally, the super thinness of the phone makes cradling it between your ear and shoulder extremely uncomfortable, if not impossible. I have also found the sound to be not nearly loud enough.

Other drawbacks include an easily scratch surface, poor battery life ...

      • due to the giant LCD screen, lack of games included on the phone, and a tendency for the LCD screen to fail and stop lighting up, rendering the phone useless.

The RAZR has a few things going for it, namely a beautiful (but energy-hungry) LCD screen, that results in fantastic pictures.

And, it’s also THE techie fashion statement. And yes, it is super slim, which can come in handy.

But, other than these things, the phone is one drawback after another. This phone costs too much for such a disapointing performance. My advice is to try something else.

I can upgrade now and for once in my life, I really want a current phone. Since it looks like Sprint isn’t getting any WP8 phones anytime soon, I’ve been thinking about getting one of these since we have AT T s 4GLTE in New York. I really want to test out these 4G LTE speeds for transmitting my graphics design work.

If you are looking for a phone that’s works with 4G LTE, you should know that the Motorola RAZR isn’t compatible. It uses the much older GPRS internet srvice.
