This is a quick recipe for a tasty appetizer called in our family “Garlic Mushrooms On A Toast.” The dish is good as a quick snack for two, and also works well as an appetite teaser for larger companies.

We use regular champignon mushrooms sold in grocery store, nothing

special. Bigger ones need to be sliced up, smaller ones can be cut in halves. Cooking directions are very simple: pour 1 tbsp of vegetable oil on a frying pan, add mushrooms, sprinkle some salt and pepper, and fry the mushrooms for about 2 minutes, stirring often. Lovers of ...

      • garlic can also add some crushed garlic or garlic powder. While the mushrooms are being fried, stick some bread in the toaster. The toasts and the mushrooms should be ready at approximately the same time. Then all you’ve got to do is spoon the fried mushrooms onto the toast
pieces. If you want to go a little fancy, cut the toasts in four and make smaller morsels. Some green onion can be added for decoration. Enjoy!

What I especially like about this dish is not just the delicious taste, but also the fact that it is healthy and quickly made.
