My baby is two months old and recently I noticed that he has stated to suck on his hand and fingers. I realized that in no time he would start to suck on his thumb.

Babies have a constant urge to suck as it

      makes them feel comfortable.

I was a little apprehensive about getting him pacifiers.

The other day I was at the Mothercare store and my husband picked up a Mothercare Pacifier.

We decided to give it a try.

It comes in a pack of two ...

      • and in various shapes and colors.

We picked up one with a little handle so we would not have to touch it directly.

At first my baby refused it outright but slowly came around it.

The good thing is the teats are silicone so

they last longer but the flaw is the smell.

It does have a nasty faint smell to it that neither me nor my baby likes.

The smell is the reason I may not get another one from Mothercare, till they come up with something better.
