What do you have in your bathroom drawers aside from your blowdryer and curler? Well, a straightener of course! I have purchased my fair share of straighteners, trying my luck with each. Well, the Vidal Sassoon Wet to Set straightener is a story all on its own.

      I had to purchase

      this product twice.

The first time i purchased it was at Target.

Well, after a couple weeks of usage the paint on the ceramic plates began to chip off.

Within a couple more weeks all of the paint was gone.

Then, after about a month of usage the straightener began to ...

      • smell like it was on fire.

        Naturally I threw it out.

Willing to give the straightener another try I went out and purchased another.

        Unfortunaltly not much changed.

Within a couple of weeks the paint began to chip off once more.

Then, what do you know? All the paint was off.

Not to mention that the smell of something burning (particullary hair, or the smell of fire) was also assiciated with this product.

The only good thing about is that it can straighten unruly hair, although only for a short period of time.

But nonetheless this straightener is not with your time or money.
