This is a vaccine that is supposed to protect you against 4 types of HPV (human paillomavirus) and the 4 types are 6, 11, 16, 18. Of course, there are SO MANY types out there, so you may ask, “how is protecting only 4 types going to help me?” Well these are the MOST common types, and i think 11 even causes the majority of the HPV incidents. Also cervical cancer kills a lot of women each year so it is good for women to take this vaccine.

Please not this is only prevention; if you already have the virus, it’s not going to do anything. Also, get it early! The

best age is when you’re in your early teens to mid teens, meaning like…teens to 25 but you can get it early too at like 10.

Why? This is the critical age where most people are sexually active. Which means, increased chances of getting the virus of course.

Plus I think they tell you to actually get this before you become sexually active. SO i think if you are already sexually active, then it probably won’t be that good since you MAY already be exposed to the disease, god forbid.

Plus these vaccines are so EXPENSIVE (more than a couple hundred dollars for a shot, and you need about like 3 ...

      • shots). ANyway, even if you already have one of the 100 types of HPV virus, you CAN still take the shot, and prevent yourself from the 4 mentioned… but like i said, it doesn’t cure anything.

Oh, speaking of the 3 shots, get the first one say now, then second one a month from now, and then the 3rd one half a year from the first one, so in 5 months after 2nd shot. This is critical, or it will not work! So mark it on your calendars or something.

Anyway this is pretty straight forward, it’s just a vaccine. Of course, ask your doc if this is right for you first.

There are active and medical ingredients that you may want to watch out. Because vaccines are actually made up of dead virus or viral components, some people may be allergic… and on the scary side, some may even die from it (vaccines i mean, i haven’t heard anyone dying from this one i mean).

So check it out first. Also there’s nothing that says pregnant people can get it but, personally I would stay the heck away from this.

Especially if it will affec the baby because you know how breastfeeding transfer a lot of things so you don’t want to put the baby at risk; their immunosystem is already weak.
