Pennsylvannia
  • You get to learn about staglamites and staglatites which are pretty interesting I think
  • Anyway after awhile you see the light - it exists pen cave and you go around the forest and the sight is pretty amazing, since normally you may see some forests with rivers but the perspective from SITTING in the river on the boat is not something you can experience everything

I went on a US tour this summer and this was one of the places I visited on the last day from coming back to Canada. This is located in Pennsylvannia, hence ‘Penn’s Cave’.

The cave is surrounded with water and also on the inside so the only way you can actually get in is by boat (unless you want to swim; the water is full of flies and is pretty murky / disgusting).

      If you go on a

tour or want to pay by yourself, the boat service is automatically free, and they even give you a tour guide or a navigator, which will navigate you and the boat into the Penn’s Cave and meanwhile, explain what everything is.

You get to learn about staglamites and staglatites which are pretty interesting I think.

(’tights are at the top, mites are the bottom just for general knowledge :D).

Anyway, there are a lot of flies so it’s good ...

      • to use some bug repellent or spray.

There are staglamites/tights on the sides of the walls and ceilings that are shaped into different animals and objects, such as the leaning tower of piza, a crocodile, penguin, eskimos, etc etc.

It is quite interesting and the most interesting part of those is that, they were shaped naturaly over thousands of years, so it’s not man made to impress tourists or anything like that.

Anyway after awhile you see the light

Anyhow you go around in a circle, go through the exit and out the entrance and that concludes the journey.

:) The guide was especialy nice and will also help you out of the boat safely.
