My husband and I have been buying furniture and accessories from Ikea for some years now. Ikea is a mixed bag.

First, the store is pretty confusing to get around.

If you’re looking for the rest room

or need to make a quick exit, you’re stuck.

They have a restaurant with a very limited menu, but it is quick and the entrees are quite good and reasonably priced.

      • in their more expensive line, to boring in their lower line.

I have just about outgrown my Ikea phase, but my husband insists on buying something now and then, mainly because he likes the prices.

        Don’t expect Ikea

furniture to last forever, most of it doesn’t.

Still, all in all, when you’re on a budget, and you have a modicum of taste, you can find something that fits into your decor for awhile, before it becomes another piece of junque.
