At close to forty dollars per copy, with a rather funny looking front cover and a horrendously short back blurb, is the final Harry Potter book worth it?

In the end, that’s up to you. The book itself is well-written, although

very dark and literally covered in death and fighting.

The only thing I can really say against it, for the most part, is that she did kill off two very popular characters.

I would say the book is worth reading.

      I ...

      • don’t think it’s worth buying, but it’s definitely worth a trip to the library.

My only suggestion is not to read the epilogue; it sounds like badly written fanfiction, from someone who works at Disney.

In other words, let’s tack on

a happy ending, a /really/ happy ending, no matter how badly it clashes with the tone of the book.

When you see “Nineteen years later”, drop the book like you would a hot coal.

Otherwise, it rounds off the set.

And Harry Potter is finally complete.
