When I learned that a new mini-series centering on the long time DC character Green Arrow was being released, I figured I would take a chance and check it out. The character has been around since the 1950’s and has alternated between phenomenal storylines and really

      bad ones.

Green Arrow - Year One looks at the character’s origin and the first issue blew me away! This is a great series that attempts to put a little perspective on the Emerald Archer’s conversion from a spoiled brat millionaire to that of a hero.

      ...

      • The first issue sets us up by showing the vapidness of the character combined with the character’s desire to change his old ways.

It ends with the notorious ship wreck that sets the stage for the origin of the hero.

This is a really well written

comic and I am looking forward to other issues in the series.

Green Arrow hits a home run this time out.

As such, this is a comic that all should head out and purchaase.

Trust me, it is a though provoking comic that is well worth reading.

        Check it out!
