Suikoden 4 was seen widely as the most disappointing game in the legendary Genso Suikoden RPG Franchise, but I actually quite enjoyed this, and am currently preparing for my second play through of it. The
main downfall of Suikoden 4 is the lack of proper storyline. You follow a generic storyline set at sea, and your major battles take place on ships rather than on land as they did in ...
the previous games. This is still effective, and the characters are still memorable. The story itself is set around 150 years before the first Suikoden, and also follows the story of Ted, one of Suikodens
main characters for a period of time. I am a big fan of the Suikoden series, and this one is no exception, despite it lacking in many ways compared to the other games in the series.
