Aliens, Guns & a Monkey is a pretty fun episode of Tripping the Rift. For this episode the crew of the Jupiter 42 set ground on a planet that is completely in love with guns.

This of course sets off a

lot of talk about the morality of guns and some minor attempts at chastising gun culture.

      • animated gunplay.

Well, that and the monkey diamond (which is a singing monkey trapped inside a diamond).

The monkey diamond is a pretty nice addition here and proved popular enough to keep coming back.

        I’m not complaining.

        This episode also

tries to point out the hypocricy of pacifists resorting to violence.

It is done with such a complete lack of intelligence, however, that any point they were trying to make falls completely and utterly flat.

All and all still a fun episode to watch, though.
