The Pentax Opti060 is mainly intended for the beginner photographer - myself, for example. With a 6.

0 megapixel, 2 inch lcd screen and a memory of 12 mb, this is clearly suitable for those who are to learn the art of photography or just want to take pictures of the family for the photo album.

      The more

advanced or professional photographer wouldn’t have much use for it to be honest.

It has a 3x enhancement optical zoom and comes in silver color like most electronic articles of its kind nowadays.

      Very easy to use.

Everything one needs to do is load the batteries, turn the camera on and choose which mode you would look ...

      • to use.

There is the landscape photograph mode, which is proper to use outdoors.

There is the portrait mode, for indoors use mostly.

And there is also the video mode, to use recording moving image, although of course in a low picture quality.

The biggest problem is with the batteries.

        They constantly run out.

        I haven’t been

able to figure out what causes this, but no matter what brand of batteries I use, they run out within a few hours at most, even though they are said to last five times that long.

If you’re out on a road trip this could really be problem.

Other than that a very neat little beginner’s camera, but nothing spectacular.
