I am reviewing The Case of the Royal Murder, a Sherlock Holmes episode from the boxed set, Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Series 39 Thrilling Episodes. This series was produced by Sheldon Reynolds and filmed in France in the fifties.

Ronald Howard, the son of actor Leslie

Howard, stars as Sherlock Holmes, and Marion Crawford stars as Watson.

This episode finds Holmes and Watson trying yet again to take a holiday.

The two of them are on their way to the Balkans, but ultimately find their host accused of murder when another guest ...

      • is found poisoned.

In a race against time, Holmes tries to solve the murder, all the while knowing that his and Watson’s own lives are at stake.

        I like this episode.

It has the added drama of putting the two main characters lives at stake, in

        addition to everyone else’s.

It also adds humor as Watson and Holmes argue again how murder seems to follow them everywhere! This episode is full of suspense, drama, and is fast paced and enjoyable.

        I recommend this episode.

You’ll receive full enjoyment for any troubles.
