  • I wouldn't recommend buying the movie but if you're looking for something to rent over the weekend and don't want a newer release, this is a pretty good choice

As far as Will Smith movies go, they are usually some of the better action films out there. One of his first ones, Enemy of the State, falls into this category. In

Enemy of the State, Smith plays an average American who is turned into the nation’s most wanted man after someone slips a video into his pants pocket. Overall, it’s a decent movie.

      • A lot of good chase scenes and plenty of suspense. But, I do think Smith carried the movie a little bit since the other characters, including Gene Hackman, didn’t seem to be
putting in too much of an effort on it. I wouldn’t recommend buying the movie but if you\’re looking for something to rent over the weekend and don’t want a newer release, this is a pretty good choice.
