“The Prestige” is a dazzling, entertaining, smart, and mind-blowing film. It is a rare combination of a fun, enjoyable, popcorn movie and a serious, well-done, cinematic film.

“The Prestige” sucks you in and doesn’t ever let go.

As soon as you see it, you’ll be

drawn to this movie for life.

It won’t let go of you.

“The Prestige” follows the rivalry of two magicians as they complete to have the better trick, better show, and better life than the other at all costs.

They sabotage and destroy each others’ lives,

      • and by doing so, they destroy their own lives.

All actors including Academy Award-winning actor Michael Caine and sexy starlett Scarlett Johansson give winning performances.

(I thought Caine and Johansson should have been nominating in the Supporting Actor and Actress category at the Oscars).

        Leads, Hugh Jackman

and Christian Bale, also give strong performances as the dualing illusionists.

The film is intelligent, crafted well, and serious, but the typically bored ‘Pirate’ watching movie goer will be entertained by the stunning special affects, stylization, and twists.

“The Prestige” entered my top ten favorites movies the second I left the theater.
